• Gave 26 Years to the 150's --- As Player, Coach, and Officer Representative Jim Kays Class of 1962 gave 26 years to the 150, Lightweight, Sprint Football Team.

• The Hall of Army Sports --- Located in the Kimsey Athletic Center. Created by Gus Fishburne Class of 62, Col Morris Herbert Class of 1950, AOG Historian and Dr Steve Grove Command Historian

• Founders of Rugby --- In the summer of 1960 John Taylor (62) was determined to bring Rugby to West Point. Along with Classmate Ricardo Cesped as Coach, they requested the support of Pete Dawkins (59); obtained approval from Superintendent Major General "William Westmoreland" Class of 1936; sought out funding; borrowed equipment from Soccer Coach Palone and accepted castoff equipment from B Squad Football. Nearly 40 Cadets turned out in early April 1961, and by the end of the month the Team played its first game. By the 2d year, 1962, the Team had a winning record. Go to --- Rugby
