Lowe's 2007 Senior CLASS Softball Award Finalist (Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School) selected as candidate among 19 others from around the country representing 12 different conferences for excelling on and off the field. Voted one of ten finalists from Notre Dame, Northwestern, Georgia Tech, Washington, Arizona, Missouri State, Creighton, Tennessee, and DePaul Universities. Selection criteria based on personal qualities of classroom, character, community, and performance and team loyalty on the field, all of which define a complete student athlete. Won - Fan Voting with 23% of votes to 18% of votes for second place contestant. Placed Second on the All-Senior All-American First Team in overall Coaches, Media, Fan and Sponsor voting.

Athletic Accomplishments Upon Graduation

Lindsey Gerheim participation in the 2009 All Service Softball Tournament. Each year 15 women each from Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines Compete.

The Army Team took Silver; Lindsey was awarded All Tournament (5th highest batting average of 60 players); and made the All Service Team heading to Oklahoma City to compete in the ASA National Tournament.

The All Services team, composed of active duty players from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, placed second in the Oklahoma City ASA National slow pitch tournament. Lindsey batted .700 for the tournament and then returned to her new assignment as Executive Officer of the 561st MP Company at Ft. Campbell, KY.
